Dwars door het Hageland Gravel Fondo – Soaking up the Tuscany of Flanders
On Sunday, June 2nd, the Dwars door het Hageland Gravel Fondo will take place in Diest, the opening event of the revamped Bolero Gravel Series, the very first series of competitive gravel events in Belgium.
The pro race ‘Dwars door het Hageland’ lives up to its status as a gravel race thanks to its unpaved roads and dust-covered riders. The challenging course that the pros ride the week after, also features other stunning gravel strips from the Hageland during ‘Dwars door het Hageland Gravel Fondo’. Be seduced by the sparkling gravel roads, the rolling vineyards and orchards, the winding Demer, the typical hollow roads and the wonderful views of the Hageland.
New this year are the timed gravel segments where you can fully unleash yourself and try to set the best times. You can find an overview of all gravel segments here.
If you need the least amount of time to complete all timed gravel segments, we’ll see you triumph as the winner on the podium in Diest. To learn more about the regulations, check them out here.
